Some specific of the communication in construction engineering

This thesis deals with some specifics of communication in the construction industry. Specific area of thesis is a communicating with the building authorities in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is focused on defining characteristic of public administration, activities and building authorities. The thesis is also aimed on determination of communication concepts and principles of right form communication. There are basic types of requests, through which citizens communicate with the authorities. The practical part is a questionnaire survey of building offices throughout the Czech Republic. The research deals with communication between authorities and citizens. The result of the research is a proposal to improve communication and efficient work of building offices. Especially in the form of recommended changes in current Building Act, to improve the negative view of citizens to manage, search for objective information rather than misleading reports in the media or delegate representation to communicate with authorities by professionals.

The position of social workers at the Labor Office - Material Emergency Department

The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part which focuses on the Job Centre, the definition of basic concepts, services and activities of the Job Centre and its structure, material need benefits and the social workers concentrating on the material need agenda. The second part deals with the research and describes the research strategy and other relevant aspects of the research. The crucial point of the thesis is to describe the position of the social worker in the Department of Material Needs when working with clients. The main objective is to describe 'What is the experience of social workers with their position in the Department of Material Need when working with clients?'. The thesis takes into account the work of a social worker in the Department of Material Needs and what they have to deal with in the position. The thesis also focuses on how the social worker carries out the material hardship benefits agenda. As for the research method, we used qualitative research with the IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis) method, a qualitative approach and Exploratory Coding. History of women's football in the Czech lands

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of women's football in the Czech lands. The thesis is divided chronologically from the very beginnings of football as a collective sport and traces the involvement of women in the game. It defines the first sporting activities of women in society and their official educational physical education process in Europe. Provides the earliest references to women's football in Great Britain and Bohemia. Describes the most important things that have happened in women's football in the Czech territory, in a chronological sequence from the founding of the first women's team, the structure of the first regular competitions to the current structure of women's football in the Czech Republic. The most famous teams are mapped and the most important personalities of women's football in the Czech Republic and the world are described. It describes the development of the Czechoslovak women's national football team from its first official match to its isolation under the Czech flag. The chapters are enriched with contemporary interviews and public reactions from available theses, periodicals, books and websites. Further education of civil servants

This diploma thesis deals with the area of further education of civil servants at the level of the central government and its aim is to critically evaluate further education at selected departments in connection with the introduction of Act No. 234/2014 Coll., which came into force on the 1st January 2015. The thesis describes how the Civil Service Act influences the further education of central government officials, it outlines the key issues that are related to the education of central government officials and shows what are the problems that central government officials encounter in the field of further education. The research project is the case study, which included public policy documents related to the topic of further education and data collected through in-depth interviews with ten officials of two selected departments and two representatives of the human resources department, was used. Based on the thematic analysis, key issues of further education of central government officials were identified: educational needs, meeting educational needs, sources of information retrieval, and a official exam. Problems encountered by central government officials in the field of further education are part of these issues.

Criminals on the field: a study of college football

Economists have found mixed evidence on what happens when the number of police increases. On the one hand, more law enforcers means a higher probability of detecting a crime, which is known as the monitoring effect. On the other hand, criminals incorporate the increase into their decision-making process and thus may commit fewer crimes, constituting the deterrence effect. This study analyzes the effects of an increase in the number of on-field college football officials, taking players\nas potential criminals and officials as law enforcers. Analyzing a novel play by play dataset from two seasons of college football, we report evidence of a monitoring effect being present in the overall dataset. This effect is mainly driven by offensive penalties which are called in the area of jurisdiction of the added official. Decomposition of the effect provides evidence of the presence of the deterrence effect in cases of penalties with severe punishment or those committed by teams with moderate to high ability, suggesting that teams are able to strategically adapt their behavior following the addition of an official.

Criminal protection against corruption and its prevention This doctoral thesis entitled "Criminal Protection against Corruption and its Prevention" defines the point of view of the phenomenon of corruption, which I decided to pursue, with its name itself. I examined corruption from the perspective of substantive criminal law, although it should be noted that this work cannot ignore the aspects of other disciplines such as sociology, criminology, philosophy etc., in order to make view of the detrimental phenomenon of corruption, for it undoubtedly is detrimental, complete. I am convinced that the chosen topic is relevant and needed. It is so, because only the effective and sustained efforts to combat corruption may lead to its reduction while avoiding the negative consequences of acts of corruption. These are mainly damages in the area of economic damage, although the negative impact of corruption on civil society should be also emphasized, for example corruption causes the loss of public confidence in politics, public administration and in a fair, objective, impartial decisions. The Act Of Civil Service from the aspect of related legislation

The master thesis analyzes the Act No. 234/2014 Coll., On Civil Service, from the aspect of related legislation, Act No. 312/2002 Coll., On Public Officials of the Local Self-Government Units. When the Law On the Civil Service came into force, at the beginning of last year, two categories of officials were created. On the one side there are civil servants who are in service of the Czech Republic, on the other side there are officials who are employed by local self-government units. The analysis is focused on five areas, where it is possible to compare the method of legislation under both laws. After review of these selected areas, the application problems of the civil service are identified. At the end of the thesis, there are legislative proposals for changes that are inspired by relevant legislation.

Studie se zabývá rozborem některých diskutovaných ustanovení návrhu zákona o střetu zájmů (sněmovní tisk č. 1056). Autorka studie dochází k závěru, že návrh zákona o střetu zájmů je psán bez zřetele na základní zásady ochrany základních práv, bez zřetele na základní zásady soudního nebo správního trestání, bez zřetele na dosavadní správní a soudní kodexy a možnosti jejich aplikace. Tento rys není způsoben špatným úmyslem předkladatele, ale tím, že jeden zákon má obsáhnout střet zájmů různých funkcionářů. Střet zájmů různých funkcionářů však musí být upraven rozdílným způsobem tak, aby zásah do jejich práv byl vždy minimální a zároveň úměrný odpovědnosti, kterou funkcionář má (a tím i veřejnému zájmu, o který jde). Zatímco střet zájmů u členů Parlamentu je možno řešit zvláštním autonomním orgánem Parlamentu, je střet zájmů vedoucích úřadů třeba řešit zákonem o státní službě, střet zájmů soudců prostřednictvím trestního práva a střet zájmů běžných zastupitelů krajů a obcí pravidly pro kraje a obce, které by střet zájmů znemožnily zevnitř. Navržený zákon je souhrnný, a proto obsahuje řadu bodů, které jsou v rozporu s různými ustanoveními ústavního pořádku. Autorka provokativně konstatuje, že Rady pro posuzování střetu zájmů mají rysy lidových soudů, nejsou nezávislé a zcela odporují zavedenému systému státních orgánů. Studie je pro srovnání doplněna o rozhodnutí Ústavního soudu Slovenské republiky a zákon č. 335/2005 Z. z. o prokazování původu majetku.
